2003 Cirrus SR22 Centennial Edition - SOLD

Here is an opportunity for the right person. The plane has been upgraded and is a fantastic option in the used market. It does have a bit of a story but has been repaired by Cirrus Authorized Repair Facilities with Cirrus Engineering. If you can look past it this aircraft represents a tremendous value in todays Cirrus market. Here is the story from the owner of the aircraft. PLEASE READ BEFORE CALLING! Prop strike occurred on Tangier Island. The plane was managed by Savvy Aviation, and under their guidance, it was shipped to Aero Industries in Richmond. The wings were removed on the island and the plane was transported by barge. The engine was examined by Penn Yan and there was no damage from the prop strike, but some internal components were corroded. I took the opportunity to do a complete engine overhaul. A new prop was installed. While at the shop, the hoist mechanism failed, and as the nose wheel was removed, the plane suffered another prop strike in the hangar. Another new prop was placed and the engine was again sent to Penn Yan where they found a bent crankshaft. There was no other damage and a new crank was installed. During wing removal, there was some damage to the underbody which was repaired under guidance by Cirrus Engineering. The plane underwent an annual and Ifr inspection while at the shop.

All over linen with burgundy, black, and gold accents. The plane has a commemorative edition paint scheme one of only 100 produced. Paint is in excellent condition. The plane has been hangared and shows well.
